California.Lash.n.Ink was built from a dream Melissa had of a Beauty Spot, that provided not only exceptional services but also provided a peaceful, blissful experience. Melissa worked at a Medical Assistant for many years before making a pivotal decision that her life needed a big shift – after completing Chemotherapy treatments for a Leukemia diagnosis in 2014 and suffering from Chemo Skin, she thought of many other Patients/Survivors suffering from the same issue, she had a vision that one day she too could provide a space for anyone including patients that lets then relax, have self care, self love, peace and a much-needed stress relief, a spot sacred pause to many, but with enhanced focus on Skincare, Scalp Care, Lashes and Brows with nonsurgical face lifting techniques for Facials. She’s been trained in California and Illinois , attended Beauty schools, Face Lifting Massage Training and Oncology Training. She then worked in a couple of Salons before deciding in 2020 that it was finally time to bring that dream to fruition. Melissa not only enjoys what she does, but she wholeheartedly believes in the power of healthy skin. She knows that radiant skin is a commitment made by both client and Esthetician and that education is the key. Melissa makes an effort with each client to communicate clearly the process, product ingredients, and expectations of every single treatment.
